Upcoming worth watching Lollywood movies in 2015

Worth Watchable movies 2015

Earlier, when we used to hear the word ‘Lollywood’, it gave us a sudden drop in our moods; however, thankfully the trend has starting to change dramatically. We stretch the appreciations to the new generation of directors, producers and actors.

In addition to the super hits Bin Roye, Wrong Number and Jawani Phir nahe aani, we have prepared a list of upcoming worth watching films that you would be enjoying in the approaching cosy winters!

1.Yalghaar

a. What it is about?

All you military lovers (including us) – get ready ! Yalghaar is an upcoming actioner, based on the Army operations against militants in Swat. The film will have the experiences told by common people when they face such situations. On 17th July 2015, the official twitter account of DG ISPR General Asim Bajwa shared the first look of the movie, stating ‘Pak film Industry on revival path. Our unparalleled talent proves we are second to none.

Check First look of Yalghaar; https://vimeo.com/133756435’.

b. Why is it worth waiting for ?

We believe that the trailor-sharing on such a formal and authentic platform is itself a very big credit to the film which inevitably makes it an anticipated hit film. The movie will prove to be thirst-quenching for Sana Bucha fans as it’s her debut motion picture. Her renowned co-stars include the ever patriot Shaan Shahid, Humayun Saeed, Ayesha Omer, Armeena Rana Khan and Adnan Siddiqi. We hope Yalghaar lives up to our great expectations and wish best of luck to the director Hassan Waqas Rana.

2.Maah-e-Meer:

a. What it is about:

Inspired by the hard work and struggles of the ever-green poet Meer Taqi Meer, this biographical flick is thought to be a success too. The experiences of the poet, who loved Urdu language dearly, lived a difficult life trying to spread the language and make it common, dealt with his conflicts in the kingdom where he fell in love with the king’s beautiful courtesan and his ever-lasting love for the full moon which is reflected through the film’s name as well, everything is beautifully presented in the movie.

b. Why is it worth waiting for?

Being a die-hard admirer of Iman Ali, we have no option left except waiting for the film impatiently. We are equally excited to see the ravishing Iman Ali coupling with our chocolaty hero Fahad Mustafa who has intensely proven his splendid acting skills in a number of hit serials as well as in the film ‘Na Maloom Afraad’.Another reason for eagerly waiting for the film is to see Sanam Saeed’s appearance too. We hope that with the five songs in it, this movie will prove to be a melodious sensation!

3. Ho Mann Jahan

a. What it is about:

The film will revolve around three college friends who are determined to make career in the music industry. This love trio will make you crave for each and every scene while you experience the eventful lives and motley thoughts of people of three disparate backgrounds. This film will surely prove as a breather in the industry with its sweetly romantic storyline.

b. Why is it worth waiting for?

Do we need any reason other than it stars Mahira Khan? The two heroes of the film are Sheharyar Munawar and Adeel Hussain. To our pleasant surprise, Soniya Jahan, the stunner will also be seen in a powerful role in the upcoming Pakistani picture. We are even hearing the rumours about Fawad Khan’s short guest appearance as well. Let’s see how far is it true? HMJ is special in this regard as well that it has Bushra Ansari and Jamal Shah, the living legends, working in it too.

4. Janan

a. What it is about:

Another much awaited romantic comedy releasing real soon is ‘Janan’ which unveils none other than Reham Khan as a co-producer! We have all eyes on the film as it will be a stimulating series of events and experiences of a Pakistani Pukhtoon girl, returning to her homeland after completing her studies abroad.

b. Why is it worth waiting for?

Weren’t you love-struck with Armeena Rana Khan in the recent hit- Bin Roye? Yeah, we surely were too. It also stars Bilal Ashraf and Ali Rehman Khan. Janan gives us a lot of reasons to wait for it, another of it is that the film is shot in Swat, whose scenic beauty will just blow the audience away! Not only Janan will show the lighter side of Pukhtoons but we are pretty sure that it WILL break the generalized notion about Pukhtoon families and their culture as well.

5. Hijrat

a. What it is about:

A serious yet pleasurable love story bound to release sooner is Hijrat. Directed by Farooq Mengal, Hijrat will throw light on the issues caused by Afghan war in Pakistan. It exquisitely portrays the love between two souls bound by the difficulties of spell and zone. With such a thoughtful topic being presented, Hijrat will encircle a prodigious audience around itself.

b. Why is it worth waiting for?

The interesting love triangle between three people in the film will be worth viewing. The film debuts the model-turned-actor, the stunning, Rabia Butt and the handsome Asad Zaman, the Tarang hero fame guy. Not only Nauman Ijaz will create the spell by his fabulous acting but we will also be seeing the ravishing model Rabab Ali in the film. Hijrat makes us wait for it more keenly because apart from being star-studded, it will be packed with wonderful sites as it is partly filmed in the lovely locations of Quetta and the remaining half is shot in striking sceneries of Istanbul, Turkey.
